| 5 | 5 | | April, by the Andrews Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers |

| 7 | 7 | | Association as one of the organization's annual state cook-offs, |

| 8 | 8 | | the Texas Shoot Out competition features talented chefs facing |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | off against one another to produce the tastiest entries in the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | categories of chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket, each of which is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | judged on appearance, taste, and tenderness; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Texans are noted for their love of barbecue, and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the Texas Shoot Out BBQ Cook-off is sure to provide spirited |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | competition and first-rate cuisine that will satisfy the most |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | discriminating palates; now, therefore, be it |

| 16 | 16 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 17 | 17 | | Legislature, hereby commend the sponsors of and participants in |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the Texas Shoot Out BBQ Cook-off and extend to them best wishes |

| 19 | 19 | | for a successful event; and, be it further |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
