| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, An extension of Prestonwood Baptist Church, |

| 6 | 6 | | Prestonwood Christian Academy provides a rigorous |

| 7 | 7 | | college-preparatory program for more than 1,500 students in |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | prekindergarten through 12th grade; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The institution is accredited by the Southern |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Association of Colleges and Schools, and today it is one of the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | largest private schools in the state and one of the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | fastest-growing Christian schools in the country; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Committed to providing high-quality, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | faith-centered education, Prestonwood Christian Academy is |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | helping its students succeed personally and academically, and in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | so doing, it is building a solid foundation for their future |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Upper School students from |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Prestonwood Christian Academy for their interest in Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | government and welcome them to the State Capitol; and, be it further |
