| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize ExxonMobil Baytown on the occasion of the |

| 4 | 4 | | ribbon-cutting ceremony for its Lubes Expansion Project, which |

| 5 | 5 | | is taking place April 28, 2015; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, ExxonMobil Baytown is the nation's largest |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | integrated petrochemical complex and one of the most |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | technologically advanced refining and petrochemical facilities |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | in the world; located on 3,400 acres along the Houston Ship |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Channel, the complex has played a vital role in the economy of the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Texas Gulf Coast for nearly a hundred years; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, The Lubes Expansion Project increases the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | manufacturing capacity and the caliber of the ingredients used to |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | produce the company's high-quality oils and greases, resulting |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | in the improved performance of heavy engine oil and lubricant |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | applications; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, During the construction of this important new |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | facility, 600 workers were employed, and no recordable injuries |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | were documented over the course of 2.3 million working hours; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, It is truly fitting that the opening of this |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | addition to the ExxonMobil Baytown complex receive special |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Legislature, hereby commend ExxonMobil Baytown on its continued |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | commitment to improvement in product quality and extend best |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | wishes to all for a memorable ribbon-cutting ceremony for its |

| 27 | 27 | | Lubes Expansion Project; and, be it further |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
