| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas honors and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | commemorates the life of Nathan Charles Fritsch, who died |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | January 3, 2015, at the age of 43; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Nathan Fritsch was born on February 20, 1971; he |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | enriched the lives of those who knew him, and he was noted for his |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | bighearted spirit and his dedication to helping those in need; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, He graduated from Pasadena High School and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | attended Texas A&M University, and he served with distinction for |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | two years in the United States Air Force; after his military |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | service, he joined the United States Department of Homeland |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Security; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, During his 23 years of distinguished service with |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | the department, he worked as a customs officer, a canine |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | enforcement officer, and a special agent with Immigration and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Customs Enforcement; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Fritsch was an exemplary citizen who was |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | committed to ensuring the safety and security of the nation; he |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | was beloved by many, and he leaves behind memories that will long |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | be cherished by all who were privileged to share in his life; now, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | family of Nathan Charles Fritsch; and, be it further |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | his family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Senate and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | memory of Nathan Fritsch. |
