1	1	SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 708
2	2	WHEREAS, Erik Beserra of Troop 1772 in The Woodlands is
3	3	being honored by the Boy Scout program for attaining the rank of
4	4	Eagle Scout, a rank achieved by only five out of every 100 boys in
5	5	the program; and
6	6	WHEREAS, This fine young man displayed outstanding
7	7	leadership through the planning and execution of a service
8	8	project that has benefited his community; he planned and
9	9	constructed a quarter-mile path that completed a two-mile loop at
10	10	the Lake Creek Preserve in Montgomery County; and
11	11	WHEREAS, Erik advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot,
12	12	Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching the rank of
13	13	Eagle Scout by following the principles of the Scout oath and
14	14	promise; and
15	15	WHEREAS, By becoming an Eagle Scout, this personable young
16	16	man has brought great distinction to himself, his family, his
17	17	troop, his community, and his state; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Erik is an exceptional representative of the
19	19	State of Texas and a sterling example to all who have the good
20	20	fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it
21	21	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
22	22	Legislature, hereby commend Erik Beserra on earning the rank of
23	23	Eagle Scout and congratulate him on his great achievement; and,
24	24	be it further
25	25	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
26	26	Eagle Scout Beserra as an expression of high regard from the
27	27	Texas Senate.
