| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Argyle High School boys' golf team, which won the |

| 4 | 4 | | 2015 Class 4A state championship; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Argyle Eagles won the title with a total score |

| 6 | 6 | | of 612 to outperform runner-up Fredericksburg High School by |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | seven shots in the two-day tournament, which took place at the |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | storied Onion Creek Club; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, These dedicated student-athletes demonstrated |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | great talent and perseverance over the course of the year, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | team members can take great pride in their outstanding |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | performance; the members of the winning team are Alex Isakson, |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Parker Love, Tommy Parker, Lance Roden, and Matt Garnett; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Under the exemplary leadership of head coach |

| 15 | 15 | | Brady Bell, the Eagles have developed exceptional discipline and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | course management skills; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Argyle High School and the people of North Texas |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | are proud of the Eagles for their hard work, their impressive |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | abilities, and their fine sportsmanship; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Argyle High School boys' golf |

| 22 | 22 | | team on its outstanding season and extend congratulations to team |

| 23 | 23 | | members on winning the 2015 Class 4A state championship; and, be |
