| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the members of the one-act play company of Chapel Hill |

| 4 | 4 | | High School in Mount Pleasant; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, One-act play competition is one of the valuable |

| 6 | 6 | | fine arts opportunities offered in Texas schools; in Class 3A, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | there were 221 schools involved in the competition this year; |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | after four levels of competition, the Chapel Hill High School |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | company is one of only eight to advance to the state meet, which |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | is being held in Austin on May 26, 2015, at the McCullough Theatre |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | on The University of Texas campus; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, The company's motto is "Together," and the students |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | in the group are truly like a family; with the guidance and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | leadership of Tonya Harper as director and Stacy Ratliff as |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | assistant director, company members have honed their skills and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | developed a polished performance; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, The company consists of seniors Hannah Simmons |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and Jeremy Wright; juniors Macy Barrickman, Tanner Levesque, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Tanner Waldo, Maritza DelCarmen, Franky Arroyo, and Brittany |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Murphy; sophomores Kendal Heavner, Taylor Ratliff, Bailey Hall, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Shelby Lockler, Jess Cullen, and Karsen Nelson; and freshmen |

| 22 | 22 | | Daniel Eddy, Jake Walker, Hayden Gaddis, Haley Swindler, Daisy |

| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, The accomplishments of these students exemplify |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas hereby |

| 30 | 30 | | congratulate the members of the Chapel Hill High School one-act |

| 31 | 31 | | play company on their accomplishments in 2015 and extend to them |
