| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize the Cameron Yoe High School football team, which recently |

| 4 | 4 | | won the Class 3A Division I state championship title; and |
|---|
| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Cameron Yoemen were victorious in their |

| 6 | 6 | | appearance at the state finals, defeating the Edna Cowboys 70-34 |

| 7 | 7 | | at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington; after a close lead in the first |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | half, the Yoemen pushed through a 28-0 scoring run to close out |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | the game; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, These young athletes have demonstrated great |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | talent and perseverance throughout the school year, and their |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | dedication has truly paid off; team members can take pride in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | their outstanding performance; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Under the superior leadership and expertise of |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | their talented coaching staff, the Yoemen have developed |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | exceptional teamwork and discipline; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Cameron Yoe High School and the City of Cameron |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | are proud of the Yoemen for their hard work, their impressive |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | skills, and their fine sportsmanship; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Cameron Yoe High School Yoemen on |

| 22 | 22 | | their successful season and congratulate them on winning the Class |

| 23 | 23 | | 3A Division I state football championship; and, be it further |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
