SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 826
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize the Reverend Dr. Roland E. Mouton Jr. on the occasion
of his installation as pastor of God With Us Ministries Missionary
Baptist Church in Houston; and
WHEREAS, This special installation service is taking place
May 15, 2015, and the theme of the service is "A Called Servant
With a Clear Message: Preach the Word"; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Mouton has been actively involved with churches
throughout the area and is affiliated with the Independent
Missionary Baptist General Association of Texas; and
WHEREAS, Inspirational and dedicated to helping others,
this beloved pastor has demonstrated an enduring commitment to
bringing enlightenment and hope to the community, and it is indeed
fitting that he receive special recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby commend the Reverend Dr. Roland E. Mouton Jr.
on his dedication to serving others and extend to him best wishes
for the future as pastor of God With Us Ministries Missionary
Baptist Church; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
