| 5 | 5 | | Baptist Church in Houston; and |

| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, This special installation service is taking place |

| 7 | 7 | | May 15, 2015, and the theme of the service is "A Called Servant |

| 8 | 8 | | With a Clear Message: Preach the Word"; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Dr. Mouton has been actively involved with churches |

| 10 | 10 | | throughout the area and is affiliated with the Independent |

| 11 | 11 | | Missionary Baptist General Association of Texas; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Inspirational and dedicated to helping others, |

| 13 | 13 | | this beloved pastor has demonstrated an enduring commitment to |

| 14 | 14 | | bringing enlightenment and hope to the community, and it is indeed |

| 15 | 15 | | fitting that he receive special recognition; now, therefore, be it |

| 16 | 16 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 17 | 17 | | Legislature, hereby commend the Reverend Dr. Roland E. Mouton Jr. |
