                            SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 920
 WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
 recognize Aaron Limonthas, who is graduating from the first
 fellowship class of New Leaders Council--Houston; and
 WHEREAS, New Leaders Council--Houston is a nonprofit,
 nonpartisan organization that is training a new generation of
 progressives to work together in the public and private sectors
 and to take leadership roles in the promotion of a strong
 democracy, social and economic justice, and equal opportunity; and
 WHEREAS, Aaron Limonthas has devoted substantial time and
 resources to honing his leadership skills; he has learned from
 his peers and from experts, and he has developed a deeper
 understanding of progressive values; and
 WHEREAS, He is an actively engaged member of his community,
 and he has demonstrated a deep commitment to building a stronger
 progressive network in order to craft a better future for Texas;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
 Legislature, hereby commend Aaron Limonthas on his dedication to
 the betterment of his community and state and extend to him
 congratulations and best wishes for much success in the future as
 a Founding Fellow of New Leaders Council--Houston; and, be
 it further
 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
 him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
