SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 956
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Anthony Ryan Whittemore on the occasion of his
graduation from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The
University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering; and
WHEREAS, While attending engineering school, he
distinguished himself with his work on such projects as the
Failure Theory Project, the Thermal Fluid Systems Power Plant
Model, and Tissue Modeling; and
WHEREAS, Over the course of his college career, he worked
to prepare himself to enter his chosen field by performing
internships at a variety of firms, including the Brownsville
Public Utility Board, General Electric Oil and Gas, and Atec,
Incorporated; and
WHEREAS, A high achiever, Anthony establishes and pursues
his goals with determination and a clear vision of his future;
his notable accomplishments in school bear witness to his
dedication and outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby commend Anthony Ryan Whittemore on the
occasion of his graduation from The University of Texas at Austin
and extend to him best wishes for success in the years ahead; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
