| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to |

| 3 | 3 | | recognize Anthony Ryan Whittemore on the occasion of his |

| 4 | 4 | | graduation from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The |

| 5 | 5 | | University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in |

| 6 | 6 | | mechanical engineering; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, While attending engineering school, he |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | distinguished himself with his work on such projects as the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Failure Theory Project, the Thermal Fluid Systems Power Plant |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Model, and Tissue Modeling; and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his college career, he worked |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | to prepare himself to enter his chosen field by performing |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | internships at a variety of firms, including the Brownsville |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Public Utility Board, General Electric Oil and Gas, and Atec, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Incorporated; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A high achiever, Anthony establishes and pursues |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | his goals with determination and a clear vision of his future; |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | his notable accomplishments in school bear witness to his |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | dedication and outstanding abilities; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby commend Anthony Ryan Whittemore on the |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | occasion of his graduation from The University of Texas at Austin |

| 23 | 23 | | and extend to him best wishes for success in the years ahead; and, |
