| 2 | 2 | | WHEREAS, When they married many years ago, Margaret Crider |

| 3 | 3 | | and Doyle Lee Fulkes placed great faith and trust in one another, |

| 4 | 4 | | and they have been amply rewarded, as they recently celebrated |

| 5 | 5 | | their 60th wedding anniversary; and |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Fulkes were married at First United |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | Methodist Church in Leander on April 30, 1955; the world has |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | changed considerably during the years of their marriage, yet they |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | have continued to cherish traditional family values; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, They have been blessed with a wonderful family; |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | their children, Donnell and Katherine, and their grandson, Bradley, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | have been a source of much pride and joy; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | sorrows of everyday living; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Friends and family members gathered at their home |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | on May 2, 2015, to congratulate them and share in this milestone |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | in their lives; the long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Fulkes is |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to Margaret |

| 22 | 22 | | and Lee Fulkes on their 60th wedding anniversary; and, be it further |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for |
