SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 995
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Kaitlyn Anderson and to welcome her on the occasion of
her visit to the Capitol on May 26, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Talented and hardworking, Kaitlyn is a
high-achieving student at Canyon High School who has
demonstrated leadership skills and a desire to contribute to her
community; and
WHEREAS, She has a great passion to learn about local,
state, and federal government, and during her Capitol visit, she
is shadowing Senator Campbell in order to gain further insight
into the state's legislative process; and
WHEREAS, Her educational accomplishments and her interest
in politics and government bode well for a future with countless
opportunities and much success; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th
Legislature, hereby commend Kaitlyn Anderson on her dedication
to the study of government and on her many achievements; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared in
honor of Kaitlyn Anderson.
