| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Less than a month after claiming the Division II |

| 8 | 8 | | West Super Region individual title, Brenna Moore carded a total |

| 9 | 9 | | score of 9-over 297 through four rounds to capture the national |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | championship trophy; her victory was made even more special by |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | clinching Midwestern State's first national title in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | intercollegiate sports; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Brennan and Debra |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Moore, this talented senior has earned All-Lone Star Conference |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | honors in each of her four seasons in the golf program and has |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | been named an All-American for two consecutive years; through 44 |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | career tournaments, she has garnered 33 top-10 finishes, |

| 18 | 18 | | including seven runner-up performances, and has won four |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | individual medals; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Under the skilled guidance of coach Jeff Ray, |

| 21 | 21 | | Brenna Moore has proven herself as a competitor of admirable |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of recognition |

| 23 | 23 | | for her outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 84th |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature, hereby congratulate Brenna Moore on winning the |
