A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to job order contracting for an airport, air navigation
facility, airport hazard area, or roadway controlled and operated
by a joint airport board.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 22.074, Transportation Code, is amended
by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows:
(f) Notwithstanding the exceptions provided by Section
2269.402, Government Code, a joint board may use the job order
contracts method under Subchapter I, Chapter 2269, Government Code,
for a project described by Subsection (c).
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
