| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Chapter 552, Transportation Code, is amended by | |
| 12 | 12 | adding Section 552.011 to read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | Sec. 552.011. TRAIN OCCUPYING CROSSING. (a) A pedestrian | |
| 14 | 14 | may not move in front of, under, between, or through the cars of a | |
| 15 | 15 | moving or stationary train occupying any part of a railroad grade | |
| 16 | 16 | crossing. | |
| 17 | 17 | (b) An offense under this section is punishable by a fine of | |
| 18 | 18 | not less than $50 or more than $200. | |
| 19 | 19 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
