| 11 | 11 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 2156, Government Code, is |

| 13 | 13 | | amended by adding Section 2156.182 to read as follows: |

| 14 | 14 | | Sec. 2156.182. OTHER INTERSTATE PURCHASES AND SALES. |

| 15 | 15 | | Subject to any limitation imposed by Section 2156.181, the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | commission may authorize one or more state governments, agencies of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | other states, or other governmental entities to purchase goods or |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | services through the commission. The commission may charge a |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | reasonable administrative fee for a purchase of goods or services |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | under this section. |

| 21 | 21 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
