11 | 9 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
12 | 10 | SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 22, Transportation Code, | |
13 | 11 | is amended by adding Section 22.091 to read as follows: | |
14 | 12 | Sec. 22.091. AIRPORT SECURITY VEHICLES. (a) In this | |
15 | 13 | section, "airport security vehicle" means a motor vehicle that: | |
16 | 14 | (1) is owned or leased by a joint board; and | |
17 | 15 | (2) has been designated or authorized by the joint | |
18 | 16 | board. | |
19 | 17 | (b) An airport security vehicle may be equipped with | |
20 | 18 | flashing blue and amber lights visible from directly in front of the | |
21 | 19 | center of the vehicle. | |
22 | 20 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
