9 | 10 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
10 | 11 | SECTION 1. Section 531.02221(e), Government Code, is | |
11 | 12 | amended to read as follows: | |
12 | 13 | (e) The women's health advisory committee is abolished and | |
13 | 14 | this section expires September 1, 2019 [2017]. | |
14 | 15 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | |
15 | 16 | a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | |
16 | 17 | provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | |
17 | 18 | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | |
18 | 19 | Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
