A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the use of the compensatory education allotment for a
school district's school guidance and counseling program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 42.152, Education Code, is amended by
adding Subsection (c-4) to read as follows:
(c-4) Notwithstanding Subsection (c), funds allocated under
this section may be used to fund a district's school guidance and
counseling program under Subchapter A, Chapter 33.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
