| 12 | 6 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 13 | 7 | | SECTION 1. Section 26.112, Government Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 14 | 8 | | read as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 9 | | Sec. 26.112. BAYLOR COUNTY. The County Court of Baylor |
|---|
| 16 | 10 | | County has the general jurisdiction of a probate court, [and] the |
|---|
| 17 | 11 | | general criminal jurisdiction of a county court, and jurisdiction |
|---|
| 18 | 12 | | over cases and proceedings involving protective orders but has no |
|---|
| 19 | 13 | | other civil jurisdiction. |

| 20 | 14 | | SECTION 2. Section 26.151, Government Code, is amended to |
|---|
| 21 | 15 | | read as follows: |

| 22 | 16 | | Sec. 26.151. COTTLE COUNTY. The County Court of Cottle |

| 23 | 17 | | County has the general jurisdiction of a probate court, [and] the |
|---|
| 24 | 18 | | general criminal jurisdiction of a county court, and jurisdiction |

| 25 | 19 | | over cases and proceedings involving protective orders but has no |
