7 | 7 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
8 | 8 | SECTION 1. Section 56.003(b), Government Code, is amended | |
9 | 9 | to read as follows: | |
10 | 10 | (b) No more than one-third of the funds appropriated for any | |
11 | 11 | fiscal year shall be used for the continuing legal education of | |
12 | 12 | judges of appellate courts, district courts, county courts at law, | |
13 | 13 | county courts performing judicial functions, full-time associate | |
14 | 14 | judges and masters appointed pursuant to Chapter 201, Family Code, | |
15 | 15 | and [full-time] masters, magistrates, referees, and associate | |
16 | 16 | judges appointed pursuant to Chapter 54 or 54A as required by the | |
17 | 17 | court of criminal appeals under Section 74.025 and of their court | |
18 | 18 | personnel. |
