| 9 | 9 | | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |

| 10 | 10 | | SECTION 1. Subchapter C, Chapter 42, Human Resources Code, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | is amended by adding Section 42.0534 to read as follows: |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Sec. 42.0534. FOSTER GROUP HOME FOR VICTIMS OF SEX |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | TRAFFICKING. The executive commissioner shall adopt rules |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | governing the licensing and reimbursement of an independent foster |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | group home that provides shelter and care for victims of sex |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | trafficking. The rules must: |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | (1) include a procedure for obtaining a license for |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the home; |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | (2) provide for reimbursement in the name of the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | organization that manages the home; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | (3) provide for reimbursement at the intensive service |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | level rate for residential child care provided by the home. |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
