| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 442.006, Government Code, is amended by | |
| 11 | 11 | adding Subsection (i) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (i) A determination by the commission relating to the | |
| 13 | 13 | accuracy of the text of a historical marker that has been fabricated | |
| 14 | 14 | and installed may be appealed. An appeal is a contested case under | |
| 15 | 15 | Chapter 2001. Notwithstanding Section 2001.171, a final decision | |
| 16 | 16 | in a contested case described by this subsection is subject to | |
| 17 | 17 | judicial review under Subchapter G, Chapter 2001. | |
| 18 | 18 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
