The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the places a public employer may provide for employees to express breast milk. Based on information provided by the Department of State Health Services, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2017.   Local Government Impact No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. The bill would amend the Government Code relating to the places a public employer may provide for employees to express breast milk. Based on information provided by the Department of State Health Services, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within existing resources.
