| 12 | 12 | | SECTION 1. Section 61.014, Election Code, is amended by |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | amending Subsections (a) and (b) and adding Subsection (e) to read |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | as follows: |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | (a) Except as otherwise provided by this section, a [A] |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | person may not use a wireless communication device within 100 feet |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | of a voting station. |

| 18 | 18 | | (b) A person may not use any mechanical or electronic means |

| 20 | 20 | | sound within 100 feet of a voting station. |

| 23 | 23 | | SECTION 2. The heading to Section 62.0111, Election Code, |

| 27 | 27 | | SECTION 3. Section 62.0111(a), Election Code, is amended to |

| 30 | 30 | | prohibition of taking photographs, taking video, or recording sound |
|---|

| 37 | 37 | | Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
