| 10 | 10 | SECTION 1. Section 37.008, Water Code, is amended by adding | |
| 11 | 11 | Subsection (e) to read as follows: | |
| 12 | 12 | (e) For all training required to qualify for or renew a | |
| 13 | 13 | license, the commission must provide: | |
| 14 | 14 | (1) a location for the training within 100 miles of the | |
| 15 | 15 | place of employment of a person who is required to receive the | |
| 16 | 16 | training; | |
| 17 | 17 | (2) reimbursement for travel and lodging expenses | |
| 18 | 18 | incurred in attending training if training is not available at a | |
| 19 | 19 | location described by Subdivision (1); or | |
| 20 | 20 | (3) online training. | |
| 21 | 21 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017. |
