CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4313 has been adopted by the house of
representatives and the senate and is being prepared for
enrollment; and
WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be
corrected; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the 85th Legislature of the State of Texas, That
the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed
to correct House Bill No. 4313 by adding the following SECTION 2 to
the bill and renumbering SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:
SECTION 2. Section 8475.201, Special District Local Laws
Code, is amended to read as follows:
Sec. 8475.201. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE BONDS AND OTHER
OBLIGATIONS. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the [The]
district may issue bonds or other obligations payable wholly or
partly from ad valorem taxes, impact fees, revenue, contract
payments, grants, or other district money, or any combination of
those sources, to pay for any authorized district purpose.
(b) The district may not issue bonds payable wholly or
partly from assessments.
