| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A native of Edinburg, Ms. Villarreal graduated from |

| 10 | 11 | | The University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 1975; over the course |

| 11 | 12 | | of her 42 years as a registered pharmacist, she has worked at the |

| 12 | 13 | | Veterans Hospital in Reno, Nevada, and The University of Texas |

| 13 | 14 | | Medical Branch in Galveston, and she has been assistant director of |

| 14 | 15 | | pharmacy at St. Mary's Hospital in Galveston, director of pharmacy |

| 15 | 16 | | at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, and pharmacist-in-charge for |

| 16 | 17 | | the 23rd Medical Military Detachment in Wildflecken, Germany, |

| 17 | 18 | | during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Villarreal opened Medical Plaza Pharmacy in |

| 19 | 20 | | November 2000, and today, the business offers a full range of |

| 20 | 21 | | services, including medication therapy management, clinical |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | medication synchronization, and complete medication reviews for |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | patients needing chronic care management; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, The pharmacy also benefits from the expertise of |

| 24 | 25 | | Ms. Villarreal's husband, Dr. J. A. Villarreal, and from the |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | dedicated efforts of longtime employees Leticia Treadway, John |

| 26 | 27 | | Charo, Marsha Smith, and Yolanda Flores, all of whom have worked for |

| 27 | 28 | | Medical Plaza Pharmacy for more than 10 years; and |

| 28 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Villarreal and her staff provide their |

| 29 | 30 | | customers with skilled and compassionate service, and they may |

| 30 | 31 | | indeed take great pride in the positive role they play in the |
