| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Bryla Birdwell of Girl Scout Troop No. 6756 has |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, To earn this distinction, Ms. Birdwell successfully |

| 9 | 10 | | met a series of requirements emphasizing community service, |

| 10 | 11 | | personal and spiritual growth, positive values, and leadership |

| 11 | 12 | | skills; as part of that process, she planned and implemented a Gold |

| 12 | 13 | | Award project that involved developing a curriculum to increase |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | student understanding of the writing process and help them write |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | their own stories; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, By fostering self-confidence and by encouraging |

| 16 | 17 | | young women to explore career opportunities and to become more |

| 17 | 18 | | socially conscious, the Girl Scout program is helping its |

| 18 | 19 | | participants achieve their greatest potential as engaged citizens |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, The maturity and dedication that Ms. Birdwell has |

| 21 | 22 | | demonstrated in pursuit of her goals truly exemplify the highest |
