| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Facing off against the best Class 6A teams in the |

| 9 | 10 | | state at the Extraco Events Center in Waco, the Lady Falcons hoisted |

| 10 | 11 | | their way to 37 team points, besting runner-up Weslaco High School |

| 11 | 12 | | by 10 points to secure the state title; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Pacing the team at the state meet were Ally Highful |

| 13 | 14 | | in the 97-pound weight class and Mandy Sanchez in the 114-pound |

| 14 | 15 | | class, each of whom clinched her second straight individual state |

| 15 | 16 | | title, as well as Jesed Castro, who won the 181-pound division; |
