| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Nathaniel John-Thomas Hale of Hewitt is reaching a |

| 7 | 8 | | Baylor University Hankamer School of Business on May 13, 2017, with |

| 8 | 9 | | a master's degree in accountancy; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hale earned his bachelor's degree from Baylor in |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | 2015 in the same field; in addition to maintaining a perfect grade |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | point average in his graduate-level coursework, he has served the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | university as an accounting tutor and equity analyst and has |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | volunteered with the Prison Entrepreneurship Program; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A proud member of the Army National Guard since |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | 2009, Mr. Hale currently serves as a second lieutenant with the |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Military Intelligence Corps; he is scheduled to be deployed to |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | Kuwait in July 2017; and |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Nathaniel Hale has |

| 19 | 20 | | garnered the respect and admiration of his professors and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |

| 21 | 22 | | commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |

| 22 | 23 | | opportunities for this notable Texan; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Nathaniel John-Thomas Hale on the |
