| 7 | 8 | | County Republican Women Day at the State Capitol; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The program of events for this day has been planned |

| 9 | 10 | | by the Dallas County Council of Republican Women, which serves as |

| 10 | 11 | | the umbrella organization for the many Republican Women clubs |

| 11 | 12 | | across the county; the mission of the DCCRW is to provide its member |

| 12 | 13 | | clubs with resources for their endeavors and to coordinate their |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | efforts to elect Republican candidates for public office at the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | local, state, and national levels; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Under the leadership of president Annette Ratliff, |

| 16 | 17 | | the DCCRW organizes grassroots activities designed to educate women |

| 17 | 18 | | about the issues of the day and motivate them to vote in the |

| 18 | 19 | | November election; members also give freely of their time and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | energies in behalf of military personnel and their families, |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | assisting at various troop-related events and gathering at the |

| 21 | 22 | | airport to show support and appreciation for those who are |

| 22 | 23 | | deploying and to extend a warm and grateful welcome to those who are |

| 23 | 24 | | returning; the clubs affiliated with the DCCRW also participate in |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Setting an admirable example for their fellow |
