H.R. No. 1244
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mohamad Rachidy, a math teacher at Harold T. Branch
Academy, was named a finalist for the 2017 Secondary Teacher of the
Year in the Corpus Christi Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and
WHEREAS, Mohamad Rachidy exemplifies the passion,
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our
best teachers, and he has set a standard of excellence to which all
in his profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mohamad Rachidy on his selection as
a finalist for the 2017 Corpus Christi ISD Secondary Teacher of the
Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
with his important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Rachidy as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
