H.R. No. 1251
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Kenneth
Klement of Hood, who passed away on January 28, 2017, at the age of
75; and
WHEREAS, Born to Edgar and Rose Klement on September 10,
1941, in Gainesville, Kenny Klement grew up with the companionship
of four brothers, Ronald, Robert, Leon, and Glenn; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Klement was a lifelong dairy farmer; he promoted
soil and water conservation by serving on the Cooke County Water
Board, and he further contributed to his community as a member of
the board of Muenster Memorial Hospital; and
WHEREAS, On July 1, 1961, Mr. Klement married the former Mary
Bierschenk at St. John's Catholic Church in Valley View, and the
couple went on to enjoy 55 years together; he was the proud father
of 6 children, John, Carol, Bryan, Keith, Daniel, and Jane, and with
the passing years, he had the pleasure of watching his family grow
to include 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, Although Kenny Klement is greatly missed, he has
left his loved ones with many cherished memories, and he will
forever hold a special place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Kenneth Klement and
extend sincere condolences to his relatives and many friends; and,
be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kenneth
Klement.
