| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Kenneth |

| 6 | 7 | | Klement of Hood, who passed away on January 28, 2017, at the age of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born to Edgar and Rose Klement on September 10, |

| 9 | 10 | | 1941, in Gainesville, Kenny Klement grew up with the companionship |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | of four brothers, Ronald, Robert, Leon, and Glenn; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Klement was a lifelong dairy farmer; he promoted |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | soil and water conservation by serving on the Cooke County Water |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Board, and he further contributed to his community as a member of |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | the board of Muenster Memorial Hospital; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, On July 1, 1961, Mr. Klement married the former Mary |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Bierschenk at St. John's Catholic Church in Valley View, and the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | couple went on to enjoy 55 years together; he was the proud father |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | of 6 children, John, Carol, Bryan, Keith, Daniel, and Jane, and with |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | the passing years, he had the pleasure of watching his family grow |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | to include 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Although Kenny Klement is greatly missed, he has |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | left his loved ones with many cherished memories, and he will |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | forever hold a special place in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Kenneth Klement and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | extend sincere condolences to his relatives and many friends; and, |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | be it further |

| 28 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
