H.R. No. 1348
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
by a great and enduring love, Larry and Carla Schneider of
Greenville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 25,
2017; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Schneider were united in matrimony in
Slaton in 1967; over the years, their family has grown to include
their children, Angela Sage and her husband, Johnnie, Jamie
Schneider, and Jon Schneider and his wife, Amber, as well as their
grandchildren, Gracey and Grant Schneider; and
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and
Mrs. Schneider both retired from rewarding careers with L-3
Technologies in 2009, and they take great joy in spending time
together with their treasured family and caring friends; and
WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past
half century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant
in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love
has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with
grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry and Carla Schneider on their
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes
for continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Schneider as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
