| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their |

| 6 | 7 | | memories of Douglas Arnold Anderle of Gainesville, who died on |

| 7 | 8 | | January 31, 2016, at the age of 50; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Doug Anderle was born in Wichita Falls on September |

| 9 | 10 | | 15, 1965, to Orville and Shirley Anderle; after graduating from |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | high school in Lindsay in 1984, he studied agriculture at North |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Central Texas College before becoming the main ranch hand at Wolf |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | Creek Ranch; in 1990, he was joined in matrimony to Brenda |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Haverkamp, with whom he went on to share more than 25 years, and he |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | was the proud father of three children, Abby, Caleb, and Evan; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Anderle worked in Australia as part of an |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | exchange program before moving with his wife to Baggs, Wyoming; the |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | couple then settled in Gainesville, where they started a ranch; in |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | 1997, Mr. Anderle joined the Gainesville Fire Department, and over |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | the course of his exemplary 19-year tenure with the department, he |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | worked his way up to lieutenant; in April 2010, he was named "City |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | Employee of the Month" for saving the city money by refitting |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | couplings from old fire hoses onto new ones; and |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Although the life of this loving family man and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | dedicated firefighter ended far too soon, Doug Anderle leaves |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | behind a record of service that his loved ones can forever remember |

| 26 | 27 | | with pride; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
