| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Collin Clark of Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 668 |

| 6 | 7 | | has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this accomplishment truly |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant |

| 9 | 10 | | honor, one bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the |

| 10 | 11 | | scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding |

| 11 | 12 | | criteria, Mr. Clark earned the requisite 21 merit badges and |

| 12 | 13 | | successfully completed an Eagle Scout project in which he repaired, |

| 13 | 14 | | replaced, and repainted playground equipment in the community of |

| 14 | 15 | | Myra; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The son of Jason and Brenda Clark, this fine young |

| 16 | 17 | | Texan is the seventh member of his family to rise to the rank of |

| 17 | 18 | | Eagle Scout; Mr. Clark has demonstrated outstanding leadership |

| 18 | 19 | | ability throughout his scouting career, winning the respect and |

| 19 | 20 | | admiration of his fellow troop members as he worked toward the |

| 20 | 21 | | highest rank that the organization offers; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, A 2016 graduate of Lindsay High School, Mr. Clark |

| 22 | 23 | | plans to continue his education at North Central Texas College and |

| 23 | 24 | | at Stephen F. Austin State University; he hopes to earn a degree in |

| 24 | 25 | | forestry and eventually become a park ranger; and |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Clark's dedication to excellence and his |

| 26 | 27 | | perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to |

| 27 | 28 | | stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride |

| 28 | 29 | | on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
