45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Cameron Worth of Boy Scouts of America Troop No. 668
67 in Gainesville has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this
78 accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and
89 WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is a significant
910 honor, bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the
1011 scouting movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding
1112 criteria, Mr. Worth earned the requisite 21 merit badges and
1213 successfully completed an Eagle Scout project that involved
1314 repainting the fence surrounding the Lindsay High School baseball
1415 field; and
1516 WHEREAS, This fine young Texan has demonstrated outstanding
1617 leadership ability throughout his scouting career, winning the
1718 respect and admiration of the fellow members of his troop as he
1819 worked toward the highest rank that the organization offers; he has
1920 further distinguished himself as a student at Lindsay High School,
2021 and following his graduation, he plans to study engineering at
2122 Texas A&M University; and
2223 WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Worth's dedication to excellence and his
2324 perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to
2425 stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride
2526 on a job well done; now, therefore, be it
2627 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2728 Legislature hereby congratulate Cameron Worth on attaining the rank
2829 of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
2930 success; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Mr. Worth as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
