R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sherri Nischbach of Bennett Elementary in McKinney
has been chosen as a finalist in the 2017 America's Greatest School
Nurse contest; and
WHEREAS, Sponsored by Pfizer, this nationwide competition
recognizes school nurses who exemplify the compassion and
dedication that are the hallmarks of the nursing profession; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Nischbach, a registered nurse who will
represent Texas among the contest's 51 finalists, has been with
Bennett Elementary School for the past four years; she was
previously employed at Finch Elementary School and spent more than
a decade as a pediatric emergency room nurse; and
WHEREAS, Through her exceptional commitment to the health and
well-being of her patients, Sherri Nischbach has greatly benefited
the students, faculty, and staff of Bennett Elementary, and her
efforts are indeed worthy of praise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Sherri Nischbach on her selection
as a finalist in the America's Greatest School Nurse competition
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her
important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Nischbach as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
