9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Sno-Cup was established in June 1980 by the late |

10 | 11 | | Victor and Maria Valadez, and today, the iconic Robstown restaurant |

11 | 12 | | is operated by their son, Victor Valadez Jr.; a member of the |

12 | 13 | | Sno-Cup team for nearly three decades, he is continuing the |

13 | 14 | | tradition of excellence established by his parents with the help of |

15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Located at the corner of Main Street and Western |

16 | 17 | | Avenue, Sno-Cup has developed a loyal following with its shaved |

17 | 18 | | ice, which comes in a variety of fruit flavors, as well as with |

18 | 19 | | lunch and dinner items ranging from Mexican food to hamburgers and |

20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, By creating jobs and helping to strengthen the |

21 | 22 | | economic environment of Robstown, Sno-Cup is contributing to the |

22 | 23 | | vitality of that community, and Victor Valadez Jr. and his staff may |

23 | 24 | | indeed take pride in this beloved local eatery; now, therefore, be |

25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby honor Sno-Cup as a longtime Robstown business |
