| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 70th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Patrick and Fay |

| 7 | 8 | | Cosgrove of Dallas are celebrating this joyous milestone in their |

| 8 | 9 | | marriage on May 27, 2017; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Patrick Calvin Cosgrove and the former Fay Evelyn |

| 10 | 11 | | Buckbee were joined in matrimony in 1947 in a private home ceremony; |

| 11 | 12 | | over the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | includes their four children, as well as their eight grandchildren |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | and seven great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Cosgrove |

| 15 | 16 | | proudly served as a member of the U.S. Navy for three years during |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | World War II, earning a Purple Heart for his valiant efforts, and |

| 17 | 18 | | Mrs. Cosgrove retired from a rewarding career with the Army and Air |

| 18 | 19 | | Force Exchange Service; and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Cosgrove have enjoyed seven decades of |

| 20 | 21 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |

| 21 | 22 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 22 | 23 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Patrick and Fay Cosgrove on their |
