| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |

| 6 | 7 | | mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Dennis and Pat Tibbs of |

| 7 | 8 | | Montgomery celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Dennis Wayne Tibbs and the former Patricia Ann |

| 10 | 11 | | Cherry were joined in matrimony in 1967 at Park Place Baptist Church |

| 11 | 12 | | in Houston; over the years, they have been blessed with a treasured |

| 12 | 13 | | family that includes their son, Todd Tibbs, and daughter, Tara |

| 13 | 14 | | Alexander, as well as three granddaughters, Jade and Maya Alexander |

| 14 | 15 | | and Piper Tibbs; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Longtime residents of the Houston area, Mr. Tibbs |

| 16 | 17 | | worked at NASA and later on at Schlumberger before founding a |

| 17 | 18 | | business alongside Mrs. Tibbs, who previously had been employed at |

| 18 | 19 | | NASA and then at Gulf Oil; the couple ran their company together for |

| 19 | 20 | | a number of years, and since retiring, they have become politically |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | active members of their community, with Mrs. Tibbs serving as |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | president of the Montgomery County Tea Party PAC; they also enjoy |

| 22 | 23 | | spending time at their second home in Puerta de Aventuras, Mexico; |

| 24 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Tibbs have enjoyed five decades of |

| 25 | 26 | | abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an |

| 26 | 27 | | exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |

| 27 | 28 | | commitment; now, therefore, be it |
