| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Heather Madeline Lathem of Childress, who passed |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Childress on November 10, 2003, Maddie |

| 9 | 10 | | Lathem was the cherished daughter of Hunt and Hannah Lathem; she was |

| 10 | 11 | | a seventh grade student at Childress Junior High School, where she |

| 11 | 12 | | enjoyed visiting with her teachers and friends and studying her |

| 12 | 13 | | favorite subject, history; Maddie also had an active life outside |

| 13 | 14 | | of school, participating in gymnastics and church activities, and |

| 14 | 15 | | she had dreams of one day becoming a professional baker; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Blessed with a beautiful smile and a contagious |

| 16 | 17 | | laugh, Maddie brought joy and enthusiasm to every moment; she |
