| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Caroline Briscoe has ably served her fellow Texans |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Briscoe has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |

| 12 | 13 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Briscoe is a member of the class of 2020 at The |

| 14 | 15 | | University of Texas at Austin, where she is working toward a |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | bachelor's degree in government; an active member of Phi Alpha |

| 16 | 17 | | Delta and the Texas Baseball Diamonds spirit team, she also gives |

| 17 | 18 | | generously of her time and talents to the South Texas Central Food |

| 18 | 19 | | Bank and the RBI Austin service organization; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 20 | 21 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 21 | 22 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
