| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Landry Kate Robinson of Abilene, whose bravery and |

| 6 | 7 | | grace captured the hearts of countless people, passed away on April |

| 7 | 8 | | 16, 2017, at the age of 14; and |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Born in Abilene on February 21, 2003, Landry was the |

| 9 | 10 | | cherished daughter of Kory and Shannon Robinson; shortly after her |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | sixth birthday, she was diagnosed with brain cancer, and her battle |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | with the disease would last for eight years; through it all, she |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | proved herself a fighter in the face of every challenge she met, and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | she never lost her sense of hope or her joy for life; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A vibrant young woman, Landry was a fan of all things |

| 15 | 16 | | pink, purple, and frilly, and she had a special flair for |

| 16 | 17 | | decorating; she drew strength and comfort from her faith and from |

| 17 | 18 | | the affection of her loving family and friends, and she also |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | inspired an outpouring of support from numerous well-wishers, |

| 19 | 20 | | including members of the Wylie High School community, who held |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | fund-raisers and prayer services in her honor; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, With her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit, |

| 22 | 23 | | Landry Robinson brightened the lives of everyone around her and |

| 23 | 24 | | showed them the true meaning of courage, and she will always be |

| 24 | 25 | | remembered with love and admiration by those who held her dear; now, |
