| 6 | 7 | | by all Texans at the news of the recent bus crash in Uvalde County, |

| 7 | 8 | | which took the lives of 13 men and women who were attending a church |

| 8 | 9 | | retreat for the First Baptist Church of New Braunfels; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, On March 29, 2017, a bus carrying members of the |

| 10 | 11 | | church was heading southbound on Highway 83, on a return trip to New |

| 11 | 12 | | Braunfels, when a driver in the opposite lane lost control of his |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | truck and veered into its path; only one passenger on the bus |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | survived, Rose Mary Harris, 64, who is in our thoughts and prayers |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | as she continues to recover from her injuries; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The victims of this devastating accident were the |
